For the majority of students much of their time and energy is spent dealing with the internal struggle of should they go to class or should they not go to class. At a certain point they need to develop the ability to deal with their inner baby 🙂 The only way to deal with this struggle is to rely on your discipline. Motivation is fleeting. If you’ve never experienced this struggle, its either because you are new in the journey or because you’re rare. For most, you may face MORE bad days, than good. This is the nature of the art and sometimes unavoidable. BUT, it’s important because it will teach you that you are more resilient than you thought. There are some frustrations and struggles in life that all you need to do is outlast, just stay the course. Showing up to class consistently year after year forms the discipline you can rely on when that inner baby tries to tempt you.
“I feel terrible after training tonight.”—said no one ever.
